Solutions Architect

Our client, a dynamic and innovative software development company, is seeking a talented Solutions Architect to join their growing team. This role offers a hybrid work arrangement, allowing you to combine the flexibility of remote work with the collaborative benefits of in-office interaction at our Centurion, Gauteng hub. The Solutions Architect will be responsible for designing and implementing robust, scalable, and cost-effective technology solutions that meet the evolving needs of our business and clients.

You will play a crucial role in bridging the gap between business requirements and technical execution, ensuring that our systems are well-architected for performance, security, and maintainability.

• Translate business requirements into detailed technical specifications and architectural designs.
• Design and oversee the implementation of software solutions, ensuring alignment with architectural best practices.
• Evaluate and recommend appropriate technologies, frameworks, and tools for projects.
• Collaborate closely with development teams, product managers, and other stakeholders to ensure successful project delivery.
• Develop and maintain architectural documentation, including diagrams, models, and standards.
• Identify and mitigate technical risks and dependencies throughout the project lifecycle.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to development teams.
• Conduct architectural reviews and ensure adherence to established standards and patterns.
• Optimize solutions for performance, scalability, security, and cost-effectiveness.

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in software development and architecture.
• Proven experience in designing and implementing complex software solutions.
• Strong understanding of architectural patterns, microservices, cloud computing (AWS, Azure, or GCP), and Dev Ops principles.
• Proficiency in one or more programming languages (e.g., Java, Python, C#).
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to articulate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
• Experience working in an Agile development environment.
