The workYou will help train and evaluate AI systems that build complex n8n automation pipelines. The work combines prompt and response writing, technical evaluation, coding, and improvement of AI-generated workflows.
- Create prompts that test n8n workflow design, including nodes, execution patterns, error handling, retries, and data parsing.
- Review and rate multi-step automation pipelines against clear technical criteria.
- Improve AI-generated workflows for reliability, scalability, performance, sequencing, rate limits, and timeouts.
- Design automations that connect multiple services through APIs, webhooks, OAuth, API keys, and mapped data.
- Work on use cases such as AI content workflows, lead generation and outreach systems, and web scraping pipelines.
- Evaluate scraping workflows, including extraction reliability, parsing, and structured or unstructured data handling.
- Process and transform JSON, CSV, and HTML data, including validation and normalization.
- Use your n8n expertise to support prompt writing, evaluation and rating, fine-tuning, reinforcement learning from human feedback, and coding tasks.
This is a flexible, project-based contractor role for an intermediate-level n8n workflow developer. You should be able to work independently and communicate in written English at B2 level or higher.
- Pay: $15-$45 per hour.
- Time: 20+ hours per week.
- Engagement:
Part-time contractor work that is non-permanent and project-based. - English:
Conversational English, with B2+ written communication. - Required:
Proven hands-on experience building advanced n8n automations in self-hosted environments. - Required:
Experience setting up and maintaining self-hosted n8n with Docker, environment variables, credentials, and basic operations. - Required:
Strong knowledge of n8n workflow logic, nodes, execution modes, and troubleshooting failed runs. - Required:
