As a Director of Engineering, you will lead the teams building and operating Life
360’s critical platforms, including location and messaging, cloud infrastructure and identity, and partner ecosystems. These systems are the foundation of the experiences millions of families rely on every day. You are a player coach who will set technical direction, develop strong engineering managers and technical leaders, and ensure our platforms are reliable, secure, and built to scale as Life
360 grows to hundreds of millions of members worldwide.

This is a leadership role that combines deep technical judgment with business impact. You will anticipate scaling challenges before they become problems, modernize critical systems, and make thoughtful tradeoffs across reliability, performance, cost, and speed. You will partner closely with Product, Security, Data, and engineering leaders to connect technology investments to business outcomes, accelerate product innovation, and build an engineering organization that can deliver at scale.
