Remote US or hybrid Morrisville/Chicago. $220K–$310K, 5+ yrs. Verified on Lenovo's careers site.
An $83B Fortune Global 500 hardware giant is running a company-wide AI transformation and calling the builders 'Forward Deployed Engineers' — embedded inside its own business functions, not customer sites, on a Microsoft Copilot/Azure OpenAI/Service Now stack. $220K–$310K, and the clearest sign yet the title now means 'high-autonomy engineer who ships adopted AI,' whether the deployment is inward or outward.
