Senior Software Engineer; Distributed Systems

• Design, develop, and maintain highly scalable and reliable distributed systems.

• Write clean, efficient, and well-tested code in languages such as Go, Java, or Python.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define system requirements and architecture.
• Optimize system performance, scalability, and resource utilization.
• Implement and manage monitoring, alerting, and logging for distributed systems.
• Participate in code reviews, providing constructive feedback and ensuring code quality.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues in production environments.
• Stay abreast of advancements in distributed systems technologies and best practices.
• Mentor junior engineers and contribute to the team's technical growth.

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• 7+ years of experience in software development, with a significant focus on distributed systems.
• Deep understanding of distributed system concepts (e.g., CAP theorem, consensus algorithms, microservices).
• Proficiency in at least one relevant programming language (e.g., Go, Java, C++, Python).
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Familiarity with messaging queues (e.g., Kafka, RabbitMQ) and distributed databases.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, essential for a remote role.
• Experience with performance tuning and scalability challenges.
