Remote Senior Software Engineer; Backend Focus

• Manage and design database schemas, ensuring data integrity and efficient querying.
• Collaborate closely with front-end developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to deliver seamless user experiences.
• Write comprehensive unit and integration tests to ensure code quality and stability.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and upgrade existing backend systems.
• Participate in code reviews, providing constructive feedback to peers.
• Contribute to architectural discussions and help define technical roadmaps.
• Stay updated with emerging backend technologies and best practices.

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
• 5+ years of professional experience in backend software development.
• Proficiency in at least one major backend programming language (e.g., Python, Java, Go, Node.js).
• Strong experience with relational databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL) and/or No
  
  SQL databases (e.g., MongoDB, Cassandra).
• Solid understanding of API design principles (RESTful, GraphQL).
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and related services.
• Familiarity with containerization technologies like Docker.
• Experience with version control systems, particularly Git.
• Strong understanding of software design patterns and best practices.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a remote team environment with strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Previous experience working remotely is highly preferred.
