Fully Remote Senior Project Manager, Software Development

This role is critical for leading the end-to-end delivery of complex software development projects. You will work closely with distributed engineering, product, and design teams to ensure timely and high-quality releases. Lead the planning, execution, and delivery of software development projects using Agile frameworks (Scrum, Kanban). Define project scope, objectives, timelines, and deliverables in collaboration with product owners and stakeholders. Manage project backlog, sprint planning, and facilitate daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives. Coordinate with cross-functional teams, including developers, QA engineers, designers, and Dev Ops, to ensure seamless project flow. Proactively identify and mitigate project risks and impediments, ensuring smooth project progression.

Communicate project status, updates, and key metrics to stakeholders through various channels. Ensure adherence to software development best practices, quality standards, and release schedules. Foster a collaborative and high-performance remote team environment, promoting effective communication and knowledge sharing. Manage project budgets and resource allocation efficiently for remote teams.

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field. A minimum of 6 years of experience in project management, specifically within software development environments. Proven experience managing complex, full-lifecycle software development projects. Deep understanding and practical experience with Agile methodologies (Scrum Master certification is a plus). Proficiency in project management tools such as Jira, Confluence, or similar.

Exceptional communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills, particularly in a remote setting. Ability to effectively manage distributed teams and foster strong working relationships virtually. Experience with CI/CD pipelines and cloud-based development environments is advantageous. Comfortable working autonomously and driving results in a fully remote setup.
