* We are seeking an experienced Senior Cloud Data Caching Platform Engineer with deep expertise in distributed caching technologies, automation, and software development. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure Managed Redis (AMR), Google Cloud Memory store (Valkey/Redis), Terraform, and cloud-native platform engineering, along with experience supporting Redis Enterprise in on-premises environments.

This role is responsible for designing, developing, automating, deploying, and supporting enterprise-scale data-caching platforms across cloud and on-premises environments. The successful candidate will combine strong engineering skills with operational excellence to deliver secure, scalable, highly available, and resilient caching services that support critical business applications.

** Key Responsibilities*
* + Design, engineer, automate, and support enterprise data-caching platforms, including Azure Managed Redis (AMR), Google Cloud Memory store (Valkey/Redis), and Redis Enterprise across cloud and on-premises environments.

+ Develop and maintain Infrastructure as Code (IaC), automation solutions, and deployment frameworks using Terraform and modern scripting languages.

+ Provide Level 3 engineering support for production platforms, including participation in a 24x7 on-call rotation, troubleshooting complex incidents, and leading root cause analysis efforts.

+ Drive platform reliability, performance, scalability, security, patching, upgrades, and lifecycle management activities.

+ Partner with application, cloud, security, and operations teams to establish platform standards and deliver highly available, resilient solutions.

* ** Required Qualifications*
* + Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or equivalent experience.

+ 5+ years of experience in Platform Engineering, Cloud Engineering, Dev Ops, Infrastructure Engineering, or engineering and support of enterprise data-caching technologies.

+ Hands-on experience engineering and supporting enterprise caching platforms, including Azure Managed Redis (AMR), Google Cloud Memory store (Valkey/Redis), Redis Enterprise, or similar distributed caching technologies.

+ Strong experience with Terraform, Infrastructure as Code (IaC), automation, CI/CD pipelines, and Git-based development practices.

+ Experience developing automation and operational tooling using Python, Power Shell, Bash, or similar scripting languages.

+ Experience providing Level 3 production support, participating in on-call rotations, and resolving complex distributed system issues.

+ Strong Linux administration, troubleshooting, and performance tuning skills.

+ Solid understanding of data caching, cloud networking, security, high availability, resiliency, and disaster recovery architectures.

** Preferred Qualifications*
* + Hands-on experience deploying, configuring, upgrading, and troubleshooting Azure Managed Redis (AMR), Google Cloud Memory store (Valkey/Redis), or Redis Enterprise environments.

+ Experience designing and operating multi-cloud solutions across Microsoft Azure and Google Cloud Platform (GCP).

Experience with Kubernetes, container platforms, and cloud-native technologies.

+ Experience implementing monitoring, logging, alerting, and operational automation solutions.

+ Azure and/or Google Cloud certifications.

+ Experience supporting mission-critical platforms with demanding availability, scalability, and performance requirements.

Work at Home Requirements:
To ensure Home or Hybrid Home/Office employees' ability to work effectively, the self-provided internet service of Home or Hybrid Home/Office employees must meet the following criteria:
At minimum, a download speed of 25 Mbps and an upload speed of 10 Mbps is required; wireless, wired cable or DSL connection is suggested. In certain roles, the minimum recommended internet speed required by Humana may not be sufficient for business needs. Humana reserves the right to require associates to upgrade their internet service if necessary. Work from a dedicated space lacking ongoing interruptions to protect member PHI / HIPAA information.

Travel:
While this is a remote position, occasional travel to Humana's offices for training or meetings may be required.
