Senior Frontend Engineer; Angular

Our client, a dynamic e-commerce platform based in Port Elizabeth , is seeking a talented Senior Frontend Engineer with strong Angular expertise to enhance their user-facing applications. • Develop and maintain complex, responsive user interfaces using Angular and Type Script.
• Collaborate with UI/UX designers to translate wireframes and mockups into functional web pages.
• Build reusable components and frontend libraries for future use.
• Optimize applications for maximum speed, scalability, and cross-browser compatibility.
• Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code following best practices.
• Work closely with backend developers to integrate frontend components with server-side logic.
• Participate in code reviews to ensure code quality and provide constructive feedback.
• Troubleshoot and debug frontend issues, identifying and implementing effective solutions.
• Stay updated with emerging frontend technologies and propose their adoption when beneficial.
• Contribute to the improvement of development processes and tools.

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Web Development, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
• 5+ years of professional experience in frontend development.
• In-depth knowledge of Angular framework (version 8+ preferred) and its core principles.
• Strong proficiency in Type Script, JavaScript, HTML5, and CSS

• Experience with state management libraries (e.g., NgRx, Redux).
• Familiarity with RESTful APIs and asynchronous request handling.
• Experience with build tools such as Webpack, Angular CLI.
• Understanding of version control systems, particularly Git.
• Knowledge of frontend testing frameworks (e.g., Jasmine, Karma, Protractor).
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
