Remote Automotive Software Development Lead

• Lead and mentor a team of automotive software engineers, providing technical guidance and direction.
• Oversee the design, development, testing, and deployment of automotive software solutions, adhering to strict quality standards.
• Collaborate with product managers, architects, and other stakeholders to define software requirements and project roadmaps.
• Establish and enforce coding standards, development best practices, and efficient development workflows.
• Manage software development cycles, ensuring timely delivery of features and products.
• Conduct code reviews, provide constructive feedback, and promote a culture of continuous improvement.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex software issues and bugs.
• Stay current with the latest trends in automotive software development, including embedded systems, cloud integration, and cybersecurity.
• Contribute to architectural decisions and ensure the scalability, reliability, and maintainability of software systems.
• Foster a collaborative and productive remote team environment.

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum of 7 years of experience in software development, with at least 3 years in a leadership or team lead role.
• Extensive experience in developing software for embedded systems, automotive applications, or connected devices.
• Proficiency in programming languages such as C++, Java, or Python, and experience with embedded

• Strong understanding of automotive software architectures, protocols (e.g., AUTOSAR, CAN), and development processes (e.g., ASPICE).
• Experience with software development methodologies (Agile, Scrum) and tools (e.g., Git, Jira).
• Proven ability to lead and motivate a remote development team.
• Excellent problem-solving, debugging, and analytical skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively interact with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Experience with cloud platforms and mobile application development is a plus.
