DevOps engineer in finance and accounting

At PwC Germany, we work to find smart solutions, create sustainable results, and strengthen trust in business and society. As part of our Capital Markets & Accounting Advisory Services (CMAAS) team, you will support our clients on their journey into the digital future of Finance & Reporting, as well as with extraordinary challenges in the capital markets and M&A activities. We pursue our goals exclusively together: we develop our expertise in interdisciplinary and multinational teams and constantly share our knowledge, both internally and with our clients, while using the latest technology.

You help our team support several applications with hundreds of users worldwide. You manage and develop the associated platform to ensure successful operations. In doing so, you are always in contact with the development team and will also take on the role of a software developer or requirements engineer yourself. You take care of maintaining and further developing existing systems, ensuring the quality of the tools.

You help manage software effectively and support it throughout the entire release cycle. Create and manage deployment pipelines that ensure the smooth operation of IT applications. As part of your work, you will further your education in finance and accounting.

You have already completed your degree in (business) computer science or a comparable degree (gap year), or you will soon complete it. You have already gained initial practical experience in software engineering, especially with the following technologies:
Type Script, Node.js, SQL databases. You have an affinity for server systems, especially technologies such as Linux, Docker, and Kubernetes, as well as a basic understanding of network architectures. You are fluent in spoken and written German and English.

We want you to feel comfortable with us. That is why we foster an open and modern corporate and leadership culture in which we recognize and celebrate our work together. You can decide your working hours and place of work yourself, in coordination with operational requirements and employment law provisions. There are no core working hours, and you have the opportunity to work from home as well as in over 40 countries.

Through our internal Academy, international experience through secondments, and continuous mentoring, you will continue to develop. We also offer the opportunity for funding for a master's degree in an examination-focused or specialist master's program. With our Keep in Touch (KiT) program, we stay in touch with our interns and working students after their internships end and offer you many benefits, such as exclusive invitations to seminars and workshops, as well as extensive information about entry opportunities.

We want to create a positive working environment: an environment where flexible and creative work is possible, where work is recognized and performance rewarded, and of which we are proud. You can find all benefits on our careers page.
