Senior Bioinformatics & Genomics Data System Engineer; Fully Remote

• Ensure timely and efficient delivery of robust software tools and systems.
• Contribute to design, development, testing, deployment, and maintenance of DSPE software, data, cloud, and automation systems.
• Create and maintain system architecture and infrastructure documentation.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in CS, Software Engineering, Bioinformatics, or related field; advanced degrees preferred.
• Minimum 3 years in a highly regulated environment (CLIA/FDA) and 3 years in a Software Engineering or Dev Ops team.
• Demonstrable experience developing custom production software, ideally in high-throughput settings.

Skills:

• Excellent Python programming with bioinformatics or genomics applications.
• Strong understanding of AWS services such as Batch, ECS, S3, EC2, and Health Omics.
• Proficiency in RDBMS (PostgreSQL/MySQL), Git, Linux, and automation solutions.
