Senior Robotics Engineer; AI Focus

Our client is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Senior Robotics Engineer with a strong focus on Artificial Intelligence to join their innovative R&D team in Pretoria, Gauteng . • Work with sensor data (cameras, LiDAR, IMUs) to enable robots to perceive and interact with their environment.
• Conduct rigorous testing and validation of robotic systems, both in simulation and real-world environments.
• Collaborate closely with hardware engineers to ensure seamless integration of software and hardware components.
• Stay current with the latest advancements in AI, machine learning, and robotics research.

• Master's or Ph.D. in Robotics, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field with an AI specialization.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in robotics software development, with a significant focus on AI and machine learning.
• Proficiency in programming languages such as C++ and Python.
• Experience with robotics middleware like ROS (Robot Operating System).
