The Wikimedia Foundation is inviting applicants to join its Software Engineering Internship Program. You will be embedded within a software engineering team in our Product and Technology departments and work on a primary project with a dedicated mentor.
You’ll learn how open source software powers Wikipedia and related projects and collaborate with a global volunteer community. Successful candidates commit to a four‑month, 40‑hour/week internship from late February to late June 2027.
