Quality Assurance; QA) Automation Tester

Our client is looking for a meticulous and skilled Quality Assurance (QA) Automation Tester to join their remote team. This role is vital in ensuring the quality and reliability of our software products through the development and execution of automated test suites. You will work closely with the development team to identify, document, and track bugs, and to implement effective testing strategies.

• Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts for web and mobile applications.
• Execute automated test suites and analyze test results to identify defects.
• Report bugs and issues with clear, detailed descriptions and steps to reproduce.
• Collaborate with developers and product managers to understand requirements and ensure comprehensive test coverage.
• Develop and execute manual test cases when necessary.
• Participate in the review of requirements and technical design documents.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of QA processes and tools.
• Maintain test environments and test data.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest QA trends and automation technologies.
• Ensure adherence to quality standards and best practices throughout the development lifecycle.

• Proven experience as a QA Automation Tester or similar role.
• Strong understanding of QA methodologies, tools, and processes.
• Proficiency in at least one programming language for automation (e.g., Java, Python, JavaScript).
• Experience with test automation frameworks such as Selenium Web Driver, Appium, Cypress, or Playwright.
• Experience in designing and implementing test automation strategies.
• Knowledge of API testing tools (e.g., Postman, SoapUI).
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and tools (e.g., Jenkins, Git Lab CI).
• Experience with bug tracking systems (e.g., Jira, Bugzilla).
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
