Avalara is seeking a Staff Software Development Engineer to own and resolve complex SAP integration issues across SAP ECC, S/4
HANA Private Cloud, and S/4
HANA Public Cloud. You will work directly with CIP teams and customer IT/Basis resources to diagnose and fix escalations, debugging ABAP, BAdI, and extension logic.
You will guide triage, contribute to runbooks, and mentor the SAP Tax Technology team while maintaining a strong customer and partner-facing presence. Remote US will be supported.
