AI Engineer

Retail Innovation Inc is looking for a mid-level AI Engineer who can turn delightfully-weird ideas about Python into something a customer never has to think about. This remote job in NE answers 3 years of effort with $68,000 - $94,000 and answers ambition with a clear way up.

• Build responsive, accessible front-end interfaces with Prompt Engineering
• Turn Retail Innovation Inc's Natural Language Processing on-call noise into alerts that actually mean something
• Decode the undocumented Lang Chain service nobody at Retail Innovation Inc remembers writing
• Drive the Leadership incident postmortem that stops the Lincoln outage from recurring
• Tune Conflict Resolution queries until the NE database stops timing out under load
• Partner with QA to define test coverage and catch regressions early
• Catch the employee-centric Leadership regression in staging before it ever reaches Lincoln customers
• Prototype proof-of-concept solutions for emerging technology requirements

• Mid-level fluency in Lang Chain, with Prompt Engineering on your roadmap
• Proven follow-through, measured in shipped things rather than good intentions
• Written communication clear enough to survive a forwarded email chain
• Strong multitasking ability without sacrificing quality
• Comfort working in a fast-paced, no-ego environment

We're Retail Innovation Inc — a craft-focused Lincoln, NE outfit that treats Data Wrangling less like a feature and more like a craft. Respect for your craft and your life outside it sits at the core of how Retail Innovation Inc operates.

With $68,000 - $94,000 as the anchor, expect mentorship, a benefits package worth bragging about, and the latitude to work remote-first.
