Sr. Flight Software Engineer Remote

Develop deterministic C++ software in a bare-metal environment for aircraft sensors, control systems, fault handling, and vehicle subsystem integration. Drive software requirements and implement unit tests. Work directly with flight hardware in the lab and on aircraft. Plan flight testing and support the development and certification of the aircraft autonomy stack. Collaborate across mechanical, avionics, algorithmic, and embedded systems.

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Aerospace, or equivalent experience. At least 7 years of professional experience with C or C++. Professional experience developing software for embedded or high-performance applications. Understanding of computer architecture, operating systems, and networking. Experience with DO-178C and safety-critical software is preferred. Ability to work in a self-directed manner in a fast-paced environment. Strong written and verbal communication skills.
