Duties & Responsibilities
- Enforce all Rec Sports, university, and facility policies, procedures, and game rules.
- Set up and take down courts/fields and check out equipment or jerseys as needed.
- Verify player eligibility and check prior to games.
- Maintain game integrity by ensuring sportsmanship, managing conflicts, and reporting issues to supervisors.
- Record and report scores using department provided technology.
- Be punctual, alert, and professional during all scheduled shifts and events.
- Assist with special events, field maintenance, and sanitation tasks.
- Assist with maintaining and cleaning up Rec Sports storage spaces as needed.
- Attend required trainings and meetings; wear appropriate PPE as needed.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Experience with playing or officiating core sport offerings such as basketball, volleyball, soccer, or hockey, with familiarity in high school rules and regulations.
- Successful completion of a Criminal History Background Check

Preferred Qualifications- Experience playing one of UND Rec Sports core sport offerings such as basketball, volleyball, soccer, or hockey at the high school level or higher
- Experience with officiating high school level sports or higher
- Demonstrated understanding ice hockey rules and regulations (high school or higher)
- Certification in officiating.
- Certification in CPR/First Aid/AED.
