Event Coordinator - Sports & Fitness - Remote

About the Role

Our client is seeking a meticulous and adaptable Event Coordinator specializing in sports and fitness events, to be part of their fully remote team. This role requires an individual with exceptional organizational skills to manage the planning and execution of virtual and potentially small-scale physical events. You will be responsible for coordinating logistics, managing vendor relationships, and ensuring seamless event delivery from conception to completion.

• Plan, organize, and execute a variety of sports and fitness events, both virtual and in-person.
• Coordinate event logistics, including venue selection (if applicable), scheduling, and vendor management.
• Develop and manage event budgets, ensuring cost-effectiveness.
• Create and distribute event marketing materials and manage participant registration.
• Provide on-site (if applicable) or remote support during events to ensure smooth operations.
• Liaise with stakeholders, including sponsors, participants, and staff, to ensure satisfaction.

• Demonstrated experience as an Event Coordinator , preferably with sports or fitness events.
• Excellent organizational, time management, and multitasking abilities.
• Proficiency in event management software and virtual event platforms.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills for remote collaboration.
• Ability to manage budgets and vendor contracts effectively.
