Transportation Specialist

• Analyze and improve transportation processes and customer delivery for various modes, including parcel and LTL
• Compile and evaluate data from transportation management systems to identify cost‑saving opportunities
• Develop and analyze transportation KPIs to enhance delivery performance and cost efficiency
• Train team members on solutions designed to improve distribution operations
• Manage vendor invoices and respond to transportation‑related inquiries from internal stakeholders

• Bachelor’s degree in business administration, accountancy, or a related field, or equivalent experience
• Minimum of five (5) years of progressively responsible experience in transportation or logistics
• Experience with preparing and responding to RFPs and RFQs in a transportation context
• Strong communication skills, both oral and written, with the ability to present information effectively
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and familiarity with automated freight pay processes

• Experience in the courier industry or pool distribution environments
• Familiarity with small package, LTL, and TL transportation methods
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills to address business challenges
• Knowledge of continuous improvement methodologies
• Proven ability to manage projects effectively
