Do you have 2 hours a week for a good deed? Meals On Wheels is looking for a regular route delivery driver one day a week (first come, first choice of your preferred day) in Montgomery County. This route will have you driving our company vehicle (a Ford Explorer) from our Pottstown home office, heading to 6 stops from Royersford to Trappe, to Collegeville, to Schwenksville and then back to Pottstown.

You must be able to lift 20 pounds, as you will be loading 16 Meals on Wheels insulated food delivery bags into the vehicle using a dolly cart to and from. You’ll be making the rounds to the same stops each week, bringing the bags to our waiting volunteers in those areas, and retrieving yesterday’s bags along the way. This route picks up in Pottstown at 9:45am sharp and usually has you back around 11:30am.

A valid Driver’s License, Current Insurance, Background Check, and a ride-along training are required.

• Drive the Meals On Wheels route in Montgomery County, visiting six stops (Royersford, Trappe, Collegeville, Schwenksville, and Pottstown) as part of the weekly schedule.
• Load and unload 16 insulated food delivery bags (weighing up to 20 pounds) using a dolly cart.
• Deliver meals to volunteers at designated stops and retrieve previous bags as part of the weekly cycle.
• Maintain the company vehicle and ensure timely delivery within the scheduled window (approximately 9:45am – 11:30am).
