- Analyze and improve transportation processes to enhance customer delivery and reduce costs
- Compile and evaluate data from various transportation management systems
- Optimize small parcel and LTL shipment planning and carrier selection
- Develop and analyze transportation KPIs to monitor performance
- Train team members on solutions designed to improve distribution operations
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration, accountancy, or related field, or equivalent experience
- Minimum of five (5) years of progressively responsible experience in transportation or related fields
- Experience with RFPs and RFQs in a transportation environment
- Strong analytical, mathematical, and organizational skills
- Excellent communication skills, both oral and written
- Knowledge of automated freight pay and audit processes
- Experience in the courier industry and/or pool distribution environments
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint, and Outlook
- Strong continuous improvement or lean process experience
- Ability to manage projects effectively
