• Analyze and evaluate existing transportation processes and customer delivery to improve performance
• Compile and assess data from transportation management systems for operational improvements
• Develop and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) for transportation efficiency
• Collaborate with carriers and transportation managers to optimize delivery and service levels
• Manage vendor invoices and respond to transportation-related inquiries from internal stakeholders

• Bachelor’s degree in business administration, accountancy, or a related field, or equivalent experience
• Minimum of five (5) years of progressively responsible experience in transportation or logistics
• Familiarity with courier industry and small package shipping, LTL, and TL experience
• Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and transportation management systems

• Experience preparing and responding to transportation RFPs and RFQs
• Strong negotiation skills and ability to present information effectively across all organizational levels
• Knowledge of automated freight pay and audit processes
• Experience in continuous improvement methodologies such as Lean
• Familiarity with financial reports and legal documents in a transportation context
