This is a new site location and requires a commercially minded individual, with experience to spearhead our attack into new markets.
Role DescriptionThis is a full-time hybrid role for a Branch Manager at Apex Time Critical located in London. The Branch Manager is responsible for overseeing day-to-day branch operations, managing and leading the team, maintaining customer relationships, implementing business strategies, and ensuring on-time delivery of logistics services. The role involves assessing and improving operational efficiency, resolving customer issues, and fostering a culture of excellence in service delivery.
The Branch Manager will also focus on driving business growth, meeting performance metrics, and ensuring compliance with company policies and industry regulations.
- Proven leadership and team management skills for effectively supervising and motivating team members.
- Experience in logistics, route planning, and supply chain operations to handle diverse and time-critical shipments.
- Strong problem-solving, organization, and decision-making skills for addressing operational challenges and improving efficiency.
- Effective communication and relationship management abilities to maintain client satisfaction and build business partnerships.
- Familiarity with logistics software, as well as proficiency in standard office applications like MS Office Suite.
- Knowledge of the transportation and logistics industry, including compliance and safety regulations, is highly desirable.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Logistics, or a related field is preferred, though relevant experience will be considered.
- Ability to work in a hybrid environment, splitting time between the Newcastle Upon Tyne branch and remote work as needed.
