Private Healthcare  Excellent Career Progression  Modern Hybrid Working We're currently recruiting for an experienced and motivated European Road Freight Forwarder to join a growing logistics business based in Solihull. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to develop their career within a supportive and forward-thinking freight forwarding environment. Working within a busy operations team, you'll be responsible for managing European road freight shipments from start to finish, building strong relationships with customers and hauliers, and ensuring deliveries are completed efficiently and cost-effectively.

The Role Managing full load, part load and groupage European road freight shipments Coordinating collections, deliveries and transport schedules across Europe Liaising with customers, carriers and overseas partners Handling customs documentation and ensuring compliance where required Providing freight quotations and operational updates to clients Monitoring shipments and resolving any transport issues proactively Building strong long-term relationships with customers and suppliers What We're Looking For Previous experience within European road freight forwarding Strong operational knowledge of import/export road movements Excellent communication and customer service skills Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple shipments Confident using freight/logistics systems and Microsoft Office A proactive and team-focused attitude What's On Offer Salary up to £35,000 depending on experience Hybrid working model - 2 days working from home Private healthcare package Generous holiday allowance Pension scheme Supportive and collaborative team culture Ongoing training and development Genuine opportunities for career progression within a growing business Modern offices with excellent local transport links WR Logistics are the 1 recruitment partner for all vacancies in the logistics industry.
