Role Description

This is a full-time hybrid role for an Experienced Freight Forwarder with proficiency in Chinese languages. Based in Surrey, BC, the role involves coordinating freight forwarding operations, managing customer relationships, and ensuring accurate documentation for shipments. Responsibilities include liaising with carriers, addressing customer inquiries, organizing exports, and ensuring timely and cost-effective transportation solutions. While based in the office, some work-from-home flexibility is available.
Qualifications

• Experience and proficiency in Freight Forwarding and Freight Transportation processes
• Skilled in Forwarding and Export logistics to ensure seamless shipment coordination
• Strong Customer Service orientation with the ability to manage client communications effectively
• Fluency in Chinese (both written and spoken) to support language-specific documentation and client interactions
• Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail
• Familiarity with international trade regulations and import/export compliance
• Proficiency in logistics management software and standard office productivity tools
• Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Business, or a related field is an asset
• Previous experience in cross-border and ocean freight is a strong advantage
