• Global Transport Management:
  Organise, monitor, and manage worldwide shipments across all transport modes
• Shipment Planning & Execution:
  Book, prepare, plan, and supervise critical material shipments, ensuring cost‑effective methods
• Trade & Compliance Documentation:
  Handle complex shipping documentation, including legalisations, Letters of Credit, ATA Carnets, and insurance certificates, and generate export/shipping documents using ERP systems
• Cost & Freight Control:
  Review transport quotes, audit freight invoices, and monitor service fees to identify process and cost‑optimization opportunities

• Academic & Professional Background:
  Completed commercial education (Kaufmännische Ausbildung) at minimum; advanced degrees or certifications in Transport, Trade, or Logistics are highly advantageous

  Several years proven experience in a comparable senior transportation or logistics role (equivalent to a P3 Senior Professional level)
• Technical & Logistics Expertise:
  Deep, advanced knowledge of logistics industry, freight forwarding, export control regulations, and rules of origin
• Digital Skills & Tools Mastery:
  Proficient handling of SAP TMS & GTS, MS Office (particularly Excel and SharePoint); foundational understanding of modern digital logistics competencies (API, EDI, AI applications)
• Mindset & Working Style:
  Strong problem‑solving capabilities, high initiative, results‑oriented, able to work independently with limited supervision
