Your contribution will directly impact the smooth running of daily operations and help maintain the high standards expected by both Balfour Beatty and Rolls‑Royce.

What you'll be doing
  • Coordinate the delivery, storage, and distribution of materials and equipment.
  • Liaise with suppliers, contractors, and internal stakeholders to ensure timely deliveries.
  • Monitor inventory levels and maintain accurate logistics records.
  • Schedule and coordinate transport activities to support operational requirements.
  • Ensure compliance with site safety procedures and company policies.
  • Resolve logistics issues promptly to minimise disruption to project activities.
  • Produce reports and maintain documentation relating to logistics performance.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives across logistics processes.
Who we're looking for

  • Strong organisational and planning skills with excellent attention to detail.
  • Effective communication skills and the ability to build positive working relationships.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and logistics management systems.
  • Ability to prioritise workloads and work effectively in a fast‑paced environment.
  • Knowledge of health and safety procedures within industrial or construction environments is desirable.
Why work for us

Day in, day out, our teams deliver some of the UK’s most ambitious, exciting and meaningful projects; developing, building and maintaining the vital infrastructure that supports national economies and strengthens communities.

  • Smart working, giving you more flexibility such as staggered start and finish times, with up to 40% remote working, where roles allow.
  • 25 days paid annual leave (pro rata).
  • Family friendly policies which include 28 weeks full pay for maternity/adoption leave and four weeks full pay for paternity/partner's leave.
  • Pension, share incentive plan, volunteering leave, recognition schemes and much more.
