We are seeking an enthusiastic, organised, and driven Logistics Coordinator to join our team and play a vital role in ensuring the seamless movement of materials, equipment, and resources across this prestigious environment.
This is an exciting opportunity to become part of a collaborative and forward‑thinking team, supporting projects that contribute to innovation, engineering excellence, and operational success. As a Logistics Coordinator, you will act as a key link between suppliers, site teams, contractors, and stakeholders, ensuring that logistics activities are planned, coordinated, and delivered efficiently. Your contribution will directly impact the smooth running of daily operations and help maintain the high standards expected by both Balfour Beatty and Rolls‑Royce.
What you'll be doing- Coordinate the delivery, storage, and distribution of materials and equipment.
- Liaise with suppliers, contractors, and internal stakeholders to ensure timely deliveries.
- Monitor inventory levels and maintain accurate logistics records.
- Schedule and coordinate transport activities to support operational requirements.
- Ensure compliance with site safety procedures and company policies.
- Resolve logistics issues promptly to minimise disruption to project activities.
- Produce reports and maintain documentation relating to logistics performance.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives across logistics processes.
- Previous experience in a logistics, supply chain, or coordination role.
- Strong organisational and planning skills with excellent attention to detail.
- Effective communication skills and the ability to build positive working relationships.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and logistics management systems.
- Ability to prioritise workloads and work effectively in a fast‑paced environment.
- Knowledge of health and safety procedures within industrial or construction environments is desirable.
