Short Intro and About the JobYou will be working in the international and intercultural logistics team of Danone’s Nutricia Global Distribution & Logistics department, in particular the Supply Chain team consisting of six people who are responsible for the centralized warehouse and related transportation.
Nutricia Global Distribution & Logistics department is a Danone subsidiary responsible for managing the logistical activities of Finished Goods (FG) from all Nutricia Supply Points and third parties to all Nutricia Medical Country Business Units via our centralized warehouse located in the Netherlands.
Your main responsibilities will be as follows:
- Supporting daily European transportation operations.
- Supporting and driving improvement in the Carrier Performance.
- Organizing and scheduling outbound and inbound shipments.
- Requesting and managing European shipments related to deployment demand.
- Creating and following up on purchase orders.
- Updating internship work instructions when necessary.
- Assisting in invoicing checks, including follow‑up.
You have an accurate and detail‑oriented mindset through which you demonstrate strong analytical and quantitative skills. You are a great communicator, take ownership of your responsibilities, and can work autonomously. You are not afraid to reach out to internal and external stakeholders and are curious, eager to learn, and proactive. Basic or advanced Excel skills are required.
Mandatory requirements
- Enrolled as a Bachelor’s or Master’s student for the entire duration of the internship.
- Resident of the Netherlands with a valid BSN number. Non‑EU citizens must have a valid Dutch residency permit.
- For non‑EU citizens, your university must sign a three‑party agreement with Danone.
- Available to start in July 2026 for a minimum of six months (preferably longer), five days per week.
- Fluent in English (spoken and written).
- Able to work from our Zoetermeer office at least two days per week.
