Class 1 Shunter Driver

Gra fters Recruit Ltd require 1 x Shunter/driver for ongoing work from our client in the Tamworth and Shire area ( Worcester). BENEFITS:

Monday to Friday -  and 1800 till 0600 - additional Sunday work available time to time REQUIRED

SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:

- Category CE (Class
1) - Newer drivers welcome
- Valid CPC
- Valid Digital Tachograph Card
- Maximum 6 points on license
- Shunter will be required to work from both sites when required - shunters will not be issued with tablets to input data. They will need basic Excel knowledge, as the role involves completing paperwork on clipboards and then entering simple details into a spreadsheet. Full guidance will be provided, but a basic working knowledge is essential.

- Shunter will be responsible for opening containers doors/manual handling - self-motivated and good communications with use of a hand-held radio to the office - computer Experience Outlook
- Emails to customers and client's
- Excel knowledge
- Data entry into spread sheet.

- Legal compliance- system check for asset service week and Mot's due.

- Reporting defects using web-based system. PAY STRUCTURE (PAYE ONLY):
Monday to Friday - £16.50 ( Shire area) Weekend and Bank holiday - £18.63 ( Shire area) Monday to Friday Days - £19.23 (Tamworth Depot) Weekend and Bank holiday Days - £20.35 (Tamworth Depot) Monday to Friday Lates - £26.85 (Tamworth Depot) Weekend and Bank holiday lates - £28.31 (Tamworth Depot) Monday to Friday Nights - £27.55 (Tamworth Depot) Weekend and Bank holiday Nights -£29.01 (Tamworth Depot) 14:00-22:00 (Lates) 22:00-06:00 (Nights) Grafters Recruit Ltd have five branches, four on-site locations and four remote contracts throughout the country.
