About the Role

Our client is looking for a detail-oriented Logistics Coordinator with a strong focus on driver management and route optimization, based in Centurion, Gauteng . This role is crucial for ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of our transportation fleet, managing schedules, and coordinating with drivers to meet delivery targets. You will play a key part in maintaining high standards of service and operational efficiency within the logistics department.

The successful candidate will bridge the gap between operational planning and on-the-ground execution, ensuring seamless communication and problem-solving for our driving team, while contributing to strategic improvements in our logistics network in Centurion .

• Coordinate daily schedules for a fleet of delivery drivers, assigning routes and ensuring efficient allocation of resources.
• Monitor driver performance and adherence to schedules, providing support and addressing any issues that arise.
• Communicate effectively with drivers, customers, and internal departments to ensure timely and accurate deliveries.
• Optimize delivery routes for fuel efficiency and time savings, utilizing logistics software and knowledge of the Gauteng region.
• Maintain accurate records of deliveries, driver logs, and operational performance metrics.
• Assist in managing vehicle maintenance schedules and ensuring compliance with safety regulations.

• Proven experience in logistics coordination or fleet management.
