Our client is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Logistics Coordinator to join their team in Pretoria . This role is essential for ensuring the smooth and efficient movement of goods and materials. You will be responsible for managing shipping schedules, coordinating with carriers, tracking shipments, and resolving any logistical issues that may arise. As a key player in our logistics department, you will work closely with various stakeholders to guarantee timely and cost-effective delivery of services, playing a vital role in our operational success within the Gauteng province.

• Coordinate and manage domestic and international shipments, ensuring adherence to schedules.
• Liaise with shipping carriers , freight forwarders, and customs brokers to arrange transportation.
• Track shipments from origin to destination, providing timely updates to relevant parties.
• Resolve logistical problems and discrepancies, such as delays, damages, or lost cargo.
• Maintain accurate records of all shipping and logistical activities in the company's system.
• Assist in the negotiation of shipping rates and contracts with service providers.

• Proven experience as a Logistics Coordinator or in a similar role.
• Strong understanding of shipping procedures , documentation, and international trade compliance.
• Proficiency in using logistics software and MS Office Suite.
• Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
