Senior Flight Dispatcher

Our client is seeking an experienced and highly organized Senior Flight Dispatcher to join their remote operations center. This position is fully remote, offering a unique opportunity to manage flight operations from anywhere. You will be responsible for planning and monitoring flights, ensuring they operate safely, efficiently, and in compliance with all regulations. This role requires exceptional decision-making skills, a deep understanding of meteorology, air traffic control procedures, and aircraft performance.

As a remote Senior Flight Dispatcher, you will be a critical link in the chain ensuring the smooth and safe execution of all flight schedules.

• Develop and issue flight plans, considering weather conditions, air traffic control restrictions, and aircraft performance data.
• Monitor flight progress in real-time, providing necessary updates and making adjustments to flight plans as required.
• Communicate effectively with pilots, air traffic control, and other relevant stakeholders regarding flight operations.
• Ensure compliance with all international and domestic aviation regulations and company policies.
• Analyze weather forecasts and reports to assess potential impacts on flight operations.
• Train and mentor junior flight dispatchers, sharing expertise and best practices in a remote team environment.

• Valid Flight Dispatcher license or equivalent certification.
• Minimum of 6 years of experience in flight operations or dispatch.
• Comprehensive knowledge of aviation regulations, meteorology, navigation, and aircraft systems.
• Proficiency in using flight planning software and communication systems.
• Demonstrated ability to make sound decisions under pressure and manage dynamic situations.
