About the Role
Our client is seeking a highly motivated Remote Fleet Operations Specialist to oversee and manage aspects of their transportation fleet from a remote location. This position is integral to ensuring the smooth, efficient, and cost-effective operation of our logistics network. You will be responsible for monitoring fleet performance, coordinating maintenance, ensuring compliance with regulations, and supporting our drivers to achieve operational excellence.
This role requires a detail-oriented individual with strong analytical skills and the ability to manage complex logistical tasks independently, utilizing advanced communication and tracking technologies to maintain oversight and drive continuous improvement across all fleet activities without the need for a physical office presence.
- Monitor fleet performance metrics, including fuel efficiency, mileage, and driver behavior, using telematics data.
- Coordinate vehicle maintenance schedules and ensure timely repairs to minimize downtime.
- Maintain accurate records of vehicle registrations, insurance, and regulatory compliance documentation.
- Assist in developing and implementing strategies to reduce operational costs and enhance efficiency.
