A.W. Jenkinson Transport Ltd is recruiting experienced  HGV Class 1 Drivers, LGV Drivers and C+E Tramper Drivers  to join our professional transport team based at our  Meriden depot .

This is a permanent, full-time opportunity for drivers looking for strong earning potential, long-term job security, guaranteed hours, and the chance to operate a modern fleet of articulated vehicles and walking floor trailers throughout the UK.

The Role
As a  Class 1 Tramper Driver (C+E) , you will operate modern articulated vehicles and walking floor trailers, delivering bulk materials and palletised loads nationwide.

What's Involved?
4 on / 4 off tramping shift pattern
Working away from home during your shift block
Nationwide deliveries across the UK
Operating modern walking floor trailers
Bulk haulage and general haulage work
Previous walking floor experience is an advantage, however full training is available
Variety of work with a respected national logistics operator
This role is ideal for professional drivers who enjoy independence, responsibility, and a varied workload.

Pay & Benefits

Excellent Earnings Package
£16.50 per hour
No break deductions
Minimum 42 hours per week guaranteed
Approximate annual equivalent earnings of £45,000+
£26.20 tax-free nightly allowance
£10.00 tax-free daily meal allowance

Requirements
To be considered for this role, you must have:
Valid  HGV Class 1 (C+E) Licence
Valid  Driver CPC Qualification Card
Valid  Digital Tachograph Card
Maximum of 6 penalty points
Good understanding of UK and EU Drivers' Hours Regulations
Minimum 1 year Class 1 driving experience preferred
Bulk haulage or walking floor experience advantageous but not essential
Maximum body weight of 22 stone due to fall-arrest gantry safety systems
