Aircraft Fueler

Our client is seeking a responsible and safety-conscious Aircraft Fueler to join their remote operations team, supporting services near Upington . This role is crucial for ensuring aircraft are adequately and safely fueled for their flights. You will be responsible for operating specialized fueling equipment, accurately measuring and dispensing fuel, adhering to strict safety protocols, and maintaining detailed records of all fueling operations.

Working remotely, you will coordinate closely with ground crews and flight operations to ensure timely and efficient fueling services that meet the highest industry standards for safety and precision.

• Operate aircraft fueling trucks and related equipment safely and efficiently.
• Perform pre-operation inspections of fueling equipment and vehicles to ensure they are in good working order.
• Connect and disconnect fueling hoses to aircraft, following precise procedures to prevent spills or hazards.
• Accurately measure and dispense the required quantities of aviation fuel according to flight plans and operator specifications.
• Monitor fueling operations for any irregularities, leaks, or safety concerns, taking immediate corrective action.
• Maintain detailed records of fuel deliveries, quantities, and aircraft types serviced.
• Adhere strictly to all safety regulations, environmental policies, and company procedures.
• Collaborate with dispatch and ground crew to ensure timely fueling services.

• Proven experience as an Aircraft Fueler or in a similar role involving fuel handling.
• Strong understanding of aviation fuel types, safety procedures, and emergency protocols.
• Ability to operate heavy equipment and specialized fueling apparatus.
• Excellent attention to detail for accurate measurement and record-keeping.
• Must be able to work independently and manage tasks effectively in a remote setting.
• Possession of a valid driver's license and ability to obtain necessary airport/security clearances.
