About the Role
Our client is seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Remote Logistics Coordinator to manage and streamline their shipping and delivery operations. This fully remote position allows you to effectively plan and oversee logistics from anywhere, ensuring that goods are transported efficiently and arrive on schedule. You will play a key role in optimizing routes, coordinating with drivers, and maintaining clear communication channels with all stakeholders.
The ideal candidate is a skilled problem-solver with a strong grasp of logistics principles and a commitment to delivering exceptional service, contributing to the smooth functioning of the company's supply chain.
- Coordinate daily delivery schedules and assign routes to drivers based on efficiency and timeliness.
- Monitor the progress of deliveries and proactively address any potential delays or issues.
- Communicate effectively with drivers, providing them with clear instructions and support.
- Maintain accurate records of all shipments, deliveries, and related documentation using logistics software.
- Liaise with customers and internal departments to ensure smooth communication and satisfaction.
- Analyze logistics data to identify areas for improvement in route planning and operational efficiency.
- Previous experience in logistics coordination, dispatch, or a related field.
- Proficiency in using logistics management software and GPS tracking tools.
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
