About the Role
Our client is seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Remote Fleet Coordinator to manage vehicle operations and maintenance schedules from a distance. This role is essential for ensuring the optimal performance, safety, and compliance of our client's fleet. You will be responsible for coordinating maintenance, tracking vehicle data, liaising with service providers, and ensuring all vehicles meet regulatory standards. The ideal candidate possesses strong organizational abilities, excellent communication skills, and familiarity with fleet management software, all within a remote work setup .
This is an excellent opportunity to contribute to efficient fleet operations without needing to be on-site.
- Coordinate vehicle maintenance and repair schedules, minimizing downtime.
- Maintain accurate records of fleet assets, including mileage, fuel consumption, and service history.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant vehicle regulations , licensing, and insurance requirements.
- Liaise with external vendors, mechanics, and dealerships for service and repairs.
- Monitor fleet performance and identify opportunities for cost savings and efficiency improvements.
- Respond to inquiries regarding fleet status and operational needs.
- Experience in fleet coordination , vehicle maintenance management, or a related administrative role.
- Proficiency with fleet management software and standard office applications.
- Strong organizational and time management skills, with exceptional attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective remote collaboration.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously in a remote setting .
- Knowledge of vehicle mechanics and maintenance best practices is highly desirable.
