About the Role

Our client is seeking a proactive and organized Logistics Dispatcher to manage and coordinate the movement of goods for their fully remote operations. This role is essential for ensuring efficient scheduling, routing, and tracking of shipments, optimizing delivery times, and maintaining clear communication with drivers and clients. You will be the central point of contact for all dispatch-related activities, ensuring seamless operations within the supply chain.

• Schedule and dispatch trucks and drivers for timely deliveries and pick-ups.
• Monitor driver performance and ensure adherence to schedules and routes.
• Utilize dispatch software and GPS tracking to optimize routes and manage fleet operations.
• Communicate effectively with drivers, customers, and internal teams to provide updates and resolve issues.
• Maintain accurate records of all dispatched shipments, driver logs, and delivery confirmations.
• Respond to urgent requests and adjust dispatch plans as needed to accommodate unforeseen circumstances.

• Previous experience as a Logistics Dispatcher or in a similar transportation coordination role.
• Proficiency with dispatch and fleet management software.
• Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks simultaneously in a remote setting.
