About the Role

Our client seeks a highly organized and efficient Remote Dispatcher to manage their transportation logistics from a home-based office. In this critical role, you will coordinate and assign drivers, monitor delivery progress, and ensure the smooth flow of operations within the Richards Bay area. • Receive and process dispatch requests from clients and internal departments accurately and efficiently.
• Assign tasks to drivers based on location, availability, and delivery requirements, optimizing routes for efficiency.
• Monitor real-time vehicle locations and progress using dispatch software and communication tools.
• Provide clear and timely communication to drivers, clients, and internal stakeholders regarding delivery status and potential issues.
• Troubleshoot and resolve logistical problems, such as traffic delays or vehicle breakdowns, with minimal disruption.

• Proven experience as a dispatcher, ideally in a transportation or logistics environment, and comfortable working remotely .
• Proficiency with dispatch software, GPS tracking systems, and communication platforms.
• Excellent organizational and multitasking skills, with the ability to prioritize effectively.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to remain calm and professional under pressure.
