About the Role

Our client is seeking a highly organized and proactive Logistics Dispatcher to join their team in Bloemfontein . In this critical role, you will be responsible for coordinating and scheduling delivery routes, managing driver communications, and ensuring the efficient flow of goods throughout the region. Your ability to multitask, prioritize effectively, and maintain clear communication under pressure will be essential for success in this dynamic transportation coordination position.

You will be a key point of contact for drivers, clients, and operational staff, playing a vital role in the smooth running of the logistics department and contributing to exceptional service delivery across the Free State.

• Dispatch drivers and assign delivery routes based on priority and efficiency.
• Monitor driver progress and provide real-time support and guidance.
• Manage incoming and outgoing communication with drivers, clients, and warehouse staff.
• Track shipments and update delivery status in the logistics management system.
• Respond to urgent requests and resolve logistical issues promptly.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and safety regulations.

• Proven experience as a dispatcher or in a logistics coordination role.
• Familiarity with Bloemfontein and surrounding routes is a plus.
• Proficiency with dispatch software and communication technologies.
