About the Role

Our client is seeking a highly organized and communicative Remote Fleet Dispatcher to manage and coordinate their transportation operations from a remote location. This pivotal role involves monitoring vehicle movements, assigning loads, communicating with drivers, and ensuring efficient and safe delivery schedules are met. You will be the central point of contact for drivers on the road, resolving issues and optimizing routes to maximize efficiency across their network.

• Monitor the real-time location and status of the fleet using dispatch software.
• Assign loads and routes to drivers based on efficiency, availability, and delivery requirements.
• Communicate effectively with drivers via phone, radio, or dispatch systems, providing clear instructions and support.
• Track delivery progress, troubleshoot delays, and proactively address any operational challenges.
• Maintain accurate records of dispatches, driver logs, and delivery confirmations.
• Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and company policies for transportation .

• Proven experience as a Fleet Dispatcher or in a similar logistics coordination role.
• Strong understanding of dispatch procedures, route planning, and transportation management systems.
• Excellent communication, problem-solving, and multitasking skills.
• Proficiency with dispatch software, GPS tracking systems, and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Ability to remain calm and effective under pressure.
