We’re currently recruiting a  Full-Time Driver Trainer  to support our growing  Grey Bruce Schools operations . In this role, you’ll play a critical part in shaping the next generation of professional drivers while ensuring we continue to deliver exceptional service and uphold our safety-first culture.
Hourly Rate: $25.00

Schedule:

Monday to Friday (weekends based on demand)

Primary Responsibilities   The Driver Trainer is responsible for training and teaching employees how to drive all Company owned vehicles in a safe and professional manner. The role also includes providing a high degree of customer service in a fast-paced work environment.
This position includes the following duties:
Conduct  Driver Assessments  to evaluate skill, safety, and readiness.
Deliver  Voyago Division Training Programs  in accordance with company standards and policies.
Facilitate  License Upgrading  programs, specifically for B Class licensing.
Lead  external instructional training sessions  as required.
Support the Operations Manager with  additional duties and projects  as assigned.
Ready and able to drive as a substitute to assist the operations team as required.
Requirements
The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications that include, but are not limited to, the following:
Valid B or E Class License  held for a minimum of 3 years required
Clean Driver Abstract  with no demerit points required
Clean Criminal Record Search with Vulnerable Sector Screening  required
Proven track record of  excellent customer service
Strong  knowledge of Grey Bruce and surrounding areas
Effective  organizational and communication skills
Flexible availability , including evenings and weekends as required
Understanding of the  vehicle-for-hire industry  and relevant regulations
Familiarity with  wheelchair tie-down systems (Q’Straint and similar)
Possess a  signing authority
Candidates applying with a current valid work permit and requiring a licence upgrade, must have  at least twelve months of remaining validity  on the work permit at the time of application.
