Logistics Specialist; Remote

Our client is seeking a proactive and experienced Logistics Specialist to join their dynamic team, working entirely remotely to support operations primarily focused on the Paarl, Western Cape area. This role is crucial for ensuring the efficient and seamless movement of goods, managing transportation logistics, and coordinating with various stakeholders to meet delivery timelines and customer expectations. • Manage and coordinate all aspects of inbound and outbound logistics, including shipping, receiving, and transportation.
• Liaise with carriers, freight forwarders, and third-party logistics providers to ensure efficient and cost-effective delivery.
• Track shipments in real-time, providing timely updates to internal teams and customers.
• Prepare and manage all necessary shipping documentation, including manifests, bills of lading, and customs paperwork.
• Identify and resolve logistical issues and disruptions to minimize delays and impact on service.
• Analyze logistics data to identify areas for process improvement and cost savings.

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in a logistics, transportation, or supply chain role.
• Proven experience in coordinating domestic and international shipments.
• Proficiency in using logistics software and tracking platforms.
• Strong understanding of shipping regulations, documentation, and Incoterms.
• Excellent organizational, problem-solving, and communication skills.
