Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Logistics Coordinator who will play a critical role in maintaining efficient operations within a fast-paced logistics environment. The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.

• Maintain positive and encouraging working relations with all drivers.
• Provide constant communication of service issues to appropriate personnel and departments, both internal and external.
• Perform load planning, driver scheduling, and dispatch duties using both Dedicated Fleet and Common Carrier resources.
• Coordinate daily data entry into the proprietary order-management system, TMW.
• Work with the home-office invoicing team to ensure timely and accurate completion of weekly customer invoices.
• Ensure accurate and timely completion of daily and weekly tasks.
• Provide weekly KPI/performance data reports to both internal and external parties.
• Coordinate daily scheduling of truck and trailer maintenance.
• Collaborate with the safety department on Drive Cam, driver compliance, and HOS issues.
• Assist the Project Manager with implementing Safety, Security, and Labor policies.
• Provide coverage throughout departments during vacations and holidays if necessary.
• Manage and maintain driver payroll.
• Audit and approve driver expense reports.
  
  Provide assistance to the Project Manager wherever needed.
• 1+ year of experience in logistics, dispatch, transportation, fleet coordination, or a 3PL environment.
• Strong computer/data-entry skills.
• Experience coordinating or monitoring drivers and shipments.
• Comfortable in a fast-paced environment.

• Experience with third-party logistics and dispatch.
• Familiarity with the TMW system is preferred, though training will be provided.

This position is based in a fast-paced logistics/3PL environment with significant computer and system work. The work schedule is Wednesday short day, followed by Thursday, Friday, and Saturday from 6 AM to 6 PM, totaling 40 hours a week. The role requires onsite presence in Dayton, NJ.

This is a Contract position based out of South Brunswick, NJ.

The pay range for this position is $23.00 - $26.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.

This is a Contract position based out of South Brunswick, NJ.
