Remote Freight Dispatcher - Global Operations

• Coordinate and manage the dispatch of international freight across air, sea, and land.
• Optimize shipping routes and modes of transport to ensure cost-effectiveness and timely delivery.
• Liaise with international carriers, customs brokers, and clients to facilitate smooth transit of goods.
• Monitor shipment progress and provide real-time updates to stakeholders.
• Resolve any logistical challenges, delays, or issues that may arise during transit.
• Ensure compliance with all international shipping regulations, customs requirements, and trade laws.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all shipments and related documentation.
• Negotiate rates and contracts with carriers and service providers.

• Foster strong relationships with clients and partners to ensure satisfaction and repeat business.

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in freight forwarding, logistics coordination, or dispatch management, with a focus on international operations.
• In-depth knowledge of international shipping regulations, Incoterms, and customs procedures.
• Proficiency in using freight management software (e.g., TMS, WMS) and global tracking platforms.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to manage multiple shipments and priorities simultaneously in a remote setting.
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Proven ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and meet strict deadlines.
• Experience in rate negotiation with international carriers.
• Fluency in English; additional languages are an asset.
