Fleet Manager - Transport Operations

Our client is searching for an experienced Fleet Manager to oversee their diverse vehicle fleet in Randburg . This role requires a strategic approach to managing vehicle maintenance, driver performance, compliance, and operational costs. You will play a key role in ensuring the efficiency, safety, and reliability of all transportation operations. • Manage the day-to-day operations of the company's vehicle fleet, including scheduling and resource allocation.
• Oversee vehicle maintenance, repairs, and inspections to ensure compliance and safety standards.
• Monitor driver performance, conduct training, and enforce company policies.
• Control operational costs, including fuel, maintenance, and insurance expenses.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant transportation regulations and licensing requirements.
• Develop and implement strategies to improve fleet efficiency and reduce downtime.

• Proven experience in Fleet Management or a senior logistics role.
• Strong knowledge of vehicle maintenance, regulatory compliance, and transport operations .
• Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency in fleet management software and systems.
• Ability to analyze data and make informed operational decisions.
• Familiarity with the Gauteng transportation landscape is preferred.
