The RoleWe are seeking an experienced Warehouse Manager based within our Norwich depot. You will oversee daily operations, manage inventory, and lead a small team to ensure smooth workflow and efficient processes.
Key Responsibilities- Supervise daily activities, including receiving, storing, picking, packing, and shipping of products.
- Manage inventory levels and conduct regular stock checks to ensure accuracy.
- Coordinate with other departments to fulfil orders accurately and on time.
- Train and mentor warehouse staff to maintain high standards of performance and safety.
- Implement and enforce warehouse procedures and protocols to optimise efficiency and minimise errors.
- Monitor equipment maintenance and report any issues promptly.
- Maintain a clean and organised warehouse environment.
- Proven experience in warehouse supervision or a similar role.
- Strong leadership and communication skills.
- Ability to prioritise tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Knowledge of inventory management software and basic computer skills.
- Attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Forklift certification (preferred but not required).
- Pension.
