🐾 Customer Service Specialist

Location:

In-person (Ontario, CA) Job Type: Full-time Salary Range: $20-$22 per hour

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide professional and timely responses to customer inquiries via phone and email (as needed).
  • Use AI tools to enhance workflow efficiency, including customer inquiry classification, draft response generation, data entry support, and content proofreading.
  • Manage the daily customer service email inbox to ensure all inquiries are addressed.
  • Maintain accurate records of customer interactions, transactions, and website update logs.
  • Assist with product-related tasks, such as:
    • Verifying product and order information
    • Coordinating replacement part labels
    • Supporting product content updates on the website
    • Assisting with basic product data entry or organization
  • Collaborate with the full-time team to ensure consistent and accurate information across all customer touchpoints, including the website.
Requirements
  • Strong English communication skills (written and verbal), with the ability to communicate clearly with customers and team members.
  • Proven ability to use AI tools (e.g., ChatGPT, Claude, AI content editors, or AI-powered customer service platforms) to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
  • Highly detail-oriented with strong organizational skills; able to manage multiple responsibilities effectively, including customer service support, product assistance, and backend updates.
  • Solid computer skills, including proficiency in Excel and other standard office software.
  • Self-motivated, proactive, and capable of working independently with minimal supervision.
  • Prior customer service experience is preferred, especially in e-commerce or consumer goods environments.
  • Availability for a full-time schedule.
